At Naaytu, we love our locally blown glassware but what we love even more is glassware that starts off as a candle. We’ve teamed up with Auckland based glass artist, Matthew Hall to create a limited run of Summer ‘22 candles.

Designed with a circular lifecycle in mind, once your candle has finished burning, pop some ice cubes in, shake up your favorite cocktail or just sip on some hydration in the sunshine and enjoy the handblown tumbler forever!

The Greenskeeper candle draws its inspiration from summertime gardens, fresh produce and a love of gardening. It is fresh and herby and bottles up the invigoration of summertime growing; ice cubes in cucumber water, the feeling of freshly picked mint, running for shade after a dip in the scorching sun, the excitement of your buds and vines getting heavy with the fruit of your labour.

This candle has a base of 100% vegan soy wax blended with fresh green herby elements like Roma tomato leaves, pine, the suede of your gardening gloves, bay laurel, sage and salt.

Over 50 hours of burn time and a wood wick to mimic the crackle of a campfire on a still balmy evening.

Dimensions: 11cm height x 9cm diameter, 450 grams of wax.

Please note, due to the handmade nature of the tumblers, each one has minor differences in its colour splashes and shape.
